Youth & Teens Sunday 2023

Unlike the previous years, this year's Youth and Teens Sunday was a combined one, held at our Church premises on August 20, 2023.

Bro. David Vijayakanth and Sis. Jacinth David from the Door of Deliverance Ministries, Chennai, were the guest speakers. The Youth and Teens fellowships performed two special songs each. Prizes for the Bible Test conducted on August 13, 2023, were distributed.

The Sunday service was followed by lunch.

Sis. Jacinth David led worship and shared the word of God with the youth and teens at the post-service fellowship. The fellowship was followed by games and activities for the youth and teens, and all participants received prizes.

The Youth and Teens Sunday concluded with a word of prayer by our Aiyaa, Rev. Abraham.

YOUTH AND TEENS RETREAT 2023

By the immense grace of God, a retreat was held for the Youth and Teens of our church on August 19, 2023, at our Church premises. Bro. David Vijayakanth and Sis. Jacinth David from the Door of Deliverance Ministries, Chennai, were our guest speaker.

The theme for the retreat was Chazak, a Hebrew word with deep meanings:

To be strong and to encourage.

A total of 50 youth and teens participated in the retreat. The retreat commenced with a praise and worship session, followed by the word of God. After a short break, a question and answer session was conducted, which saw active participation from those present.

The retreat concluded with an Altar Call.

Following the retreat, the participants enjoyed a special lunch.

Children's Sunday July 2023

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

By God's grace we had our MDCM children's day program on 16th July 2023. Starting prayer was done by Ms. Joseline Golda. Bible readings were done by Ms Rheana Robinson and Ms Andrea Prakash. Sermon was given by Mr Abraham from the MDCM team. Introduction to the theme "Jesus, my hope" by Mst Ethan. Bible verses were recited by the children of Sunday school and then they sang a song 'My hope is building on nothing less'. Prizes were distributed for the Golden text exams conducted. Vote of thanks by Mrs Rachel Thangiah. Offertory was collected by Mst Febin Jagdish, Ms Andrea Joyal, Mst Jovin and Ms Hannah Mano. Closing prayer was done by Ms Celeste.

After lunch the MDCM team led the children with activities, songs and an animated tiger costume to celebrate the day. Gifts were presented to students, teachers, MDCM team members, our Pastor and Sexton.

Confirmation Service

By the immense grace of God, Confirmation service was held in our church on the 18th June 2023 after a period of five years.

Rt. Rev. Paul B. P. Dupare, Moderator’s Episcopal Commissary, Diocese of Bombay was the chief guest.

The following seventeen candidates from our congregation confirmed publicly and affirmed their personal decision to live in the faith of Jesus Christ, their Lord and Saviour.

Through the laying on of Bishop’s hands during the confirmation service, they experienced the power of God’s Holy Spirit.

The members of the congregation welcomed them into the fellowship to share the holy sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.

The confirmed candidates happily took part in their first Holy Communion and praised and glorified God.

Bishop Rt. Rev. Paul B. P. Dupare, Rev. P. Abraham, Rev. D. Jeyaraj and the congregation prayed for the confirmed candidates and blessed them.

The confirmation service was followed by a special lunch arranged by the parents of the confirmed candidates.

suMMER SPORTS FIESTA 2023

Women's

The sixth edition of the SPTC Summer Sports Fiesta was held on 29th April 2023 in Neptune mall, Bhandup. Around 50 church members participated actively in games like Football, Dodgeball, Tug of War, Lemon & Spoon and Passing the Parcel.
